The beauty of the hills! God’s Creation is our inheritance!

The church is the place to meet, to worship, and to learn how to serve! God’s Will needs to be done!

1 Peter 1:5 – You are kept by the power of God!
1 Peter 4:7-11 – Serving for God’s Glory!
2 Corinthians 13 and Philippians 4:8 – Be a reflector of God’s Light!

Help us share the word and do God’s Will to all we meet!

Called to be Stewards of God’s Creation

In Genesis Chapters 1 and 2, God created a Masterpiece. This masterpiece was us and everything in the universe. He gave us dominion over all of his creation. Even more, he gave us the power and freedom of choice! As we walk or even as we sit and revel in the beauty of the Earth (the change in seasons, the wildlife, the life cycle, etc.), let us give Praise to God! Let us express this praise with appreciation and encourage others to see this beauty. Praise God for giving us the ability to serve and love with a purpose! Set aside time today, and also throughout the year, to discuss with your family (of all ages) how we can offer gifts, time, and talents to thank God for his gifts of Freedom and Creation (Psalm 19:1 and Psalm 8 – Enjoy the gifts of God)!

We are in charge of taking care of all of God’s Creation (Biotic and Abiotic).
We, the children of God and the members of His Family, are part of an ongoing cycle of life. All of God’s creation are intertwined and need certain items to survive (Sun, Water, Soil, Air, Shelter, Relationships, etc.). We have been called to be Stewards of all Creation. We have been called to be the Gardener, the Caretaker, the Servant, and a Witness for God, to all we meet (Psalm 14:1 and Psalm 19 – The gifts of God, for the children of God! Believe in his wisdom and trust in his goodness, keep the Faith)!

God has spoken and He is still speaking! The question is, “Are we still listening?” We have been given a Masterpiece to manage. We have been given time, talents, and abilities to maintain and improve the work of the Master. His investment is great and we cannot let him down. We must rise and have high expectations, to meet and exceed the challenges of being the hands of God on Earth (Genesis 18:14 and Psalm 91 – You ask this question, “Is anything too hard for the Lord?” (Sarah laughed). You need to have Faith and the Lord will provide)!

We have been called to be on a Mission for God in spreading his word to do the Day’s Work, to do what God wants us to do, and to do it well! God will be with you always (Ezra 7:23 and Psalm 1)! We have been called to go and make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:16-20). This may seem like a huge task and the journey we are on to accomplish this may seem difficult. So, let us stop and reflect, catch our breath, and pray (Romans 8:34-39 and Philippians 4:13 –The Power of Prayer will be your strength for the journey)! What do each of us have to offer (the talents and abilities stored on our unique DNA molecule) to help God? Because of this DNA molecule, we have diversity, we each can contribute in our own special way, and this will fulfill God’s Mission. Interdependence is everything on Earth needs everything else to survive and grow. So, let us help God’s Creation to grow and flourish!

This Journey has choices and we need to remain Strong and United (Joshua 1:1-9 – Be strong and of good courage, for your Lord is with you wherever you go)! We need to do all of God’s work with Love and Appreciation (Matthew 7:1-14 – The Golden Rule)! We need to stop and smell the roses from time to time (Matthew 11:28-30 and Psalm 23 – He gives you rest for your soul)! God has spoken! Life has two paths and Life is what you make of it (I Samuel 26:21 and 2 Timothy 4:1-8). God says, “Keep on living by the standard, which you know is right (Habakkuk 2)!”

This Little Light of Mine, I’m Going to Let It Shine, Let it Shine All the Time! Let us keep the light shining for all to see. Let us be a cheerful giver! God is your guiding hand and your assurance of forgiveness and grace (Revelation 19:6 and Psalm 29)! Peace be with you and may the Love of God be your guide (Micah 4:3 and John 14:15-31)!
